RETAIL ALLIANCE, the Retail Merchants Association of Tidewater Virginia Inc. is an independent sales agent for Equifax, a national credit reporting organization. RETAIL ALLIANCE offers a wide variety of business service products and tools. For customers who use these services, the company provides quarterly workshops to update businesses on government rulings and changes in the credit industry. Moreover, the Retail Services division offers retail training workshops to association members. This service and other benefits such as local and statewide retail lobbying are available to partners who join the association for an annual membership fee.
Membership
There are more than 2,000 Hampton Roads businesses who are members or customers of RETAIL ALLIANCE.
