Deliver a Retail Experience!
September 28, 2001
It’s going to be a make or break 4th quarter. Retailers must exceed customer expectations to come out ahead. To do that, it is imperative to understand the trend in “Experience“ Retailing and fundamental to re-think all the rules.
This forum on “Experience Retailing” will challenge businesses to examine the customers’ expectations versus their actual experience and demonstrate proven strategies for success. Retail Alliance and the Downtown Norfolk Council offer it cooperatively on Thursday, October 25th, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Tidewater Community College’s Martin Building, room 2502 on Granby Street in downtown Norfolk. The Forum is complimentary for Downtown Norfolk Council members, Ghent Business Association members and Retail Alliance Partners. All others who wish to attend are $25. A continental breakfast will be available.
Margie Johnson, one of the top retail consultants and presenters in the country, will present the Forum. She has been the recipient of many national awards, including the Fred Lazarus National Retail Federation Award and North Carolina’s employer of the year. She was also selected as one of the Outstanding Professional Women of Hampton Roads in 1998. Her lively blend of lecture and interactive techniques gives participants a variety of ways to enhance their service and selling skills. Ms. Johnson is President of Shop Talk, a specialized consultation firm concentrated in the retail, hospitality and financial industries, based in Virginia Beach.
Seating is limited. To register for this Wednesday Forum on “Experience Retailing,” call 455-9319, by Tuesday, October 23rd, 2001. MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted.
