Direct Mail: Targeted Results in a Tight Economy

April 2, 2001

Norfolk, VA - Take careful aim at your target market. You can’t afford not to. Direct Mail is one of the least expensive methods of marketing products, services and businesses on a cost per sale basis. It also provides results that are accountable. You will clearly know whether it worked and how well it worked - immediately.

The Downtown Norfolk Council and Retail Alliance will present this special program, “Direct Mail: Targeted Results in a Tight Economy,” on Thursday, April 26th, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the downtown Norfolk campus of Tidewater Community College on the fifth floor of the Martin Building, 300 Granby Street. The program is complimentary. A continental breakfast will be available.

This program is the first in a quarterly series of cooperative programs planned by the two business organizations.

“Direct Mail: Targeted Results” will cover the entire process of planning, creating, producing and implementing a successful direct mail campaign from mail lists to mail-out. The program will be co-presented by Sell & Reese Marketing and AmeriComm Direct Marketing Virginia. Sell & Reese is a Norfolk-based advertising agency specializing in small business marketing, promotion, advertising and special event planning. AmeriComm is a full-service direct marketing facility specializing in business applications as well as commercial offset printing, laser printing, data processing, list compilation and maintenance, lettershop insertion and ink-jet addressing.

To register for “Direct Mail: Targeted Results,” call 623-1757, extension 308, by Tuesday, April 24, 2001. Participation is limited to the first 100 reservations.
